Children and adults are welcome

Assisted Education: There Is Room for You Here

Needing more time, a different explanation or extra practice should not make you feel out of place. We want every learner to feel comfortable asking for the support they need.

Start with a conversation

Talk with us first or apply when you are ready.

We are developing Assisted Education options for students with learning disabilities and for those who simply benefit from a slower pace or more guidance. You do not need to know exactly what to ask for before starting a conversation with us.

Adults are welcome to ask about their own learning. Parents and guardians are welcome to ask about support for their child.

Children and adults discussing the ways they learn best, including read-aloud instructions, demonstrations, shorter sessions and help with overwhelming classroom experiences.
Your voice matters in choosing your support.

How I Learn Best

Let’s talk about how you learn best.

Your discovery meeting is an opportunity for us to listen. You can tell us what has helped before, what has been difficult and what you hope to learn. This is a conversation, not a test.

  • Would you like instructions read aloud?
  • Does watching a demonstration help?
  • Do you prefer shorter sessions?
  • What makes class feel overwhelming?

For children, we welcome input from a parent or guardian while making room for the child’s own voice.
